Pecel Malioboro

Go to Jogjakarta is an opportunity to indulge tongue. Although for some people who do not like the sweet flavor would be less comfortable when doing a culinary tour here.

7am already landed at Adi Sucipto Airport makes me challenged to look for a special breakfast of Jogja. I decided to ride the Trans Jogja toward the center of town at Jalan Malioboro. Along the street which is the centre city of Jogja we can see many typical menu of Jogja. So many selected menu, start from the soto, pecel, lotek, and many more. Finally I am interested in pecel seller who is selling at the cart.

I order pecel with fried egg, tempe bacem and sweet iced tea. Pecel is Javanese food, where in some of city will somewhat different. Pecel made from the boiled vegetables: watercress, spinach, kenikir leaf, turi flowers, sprouts, lettuce. Vegetables then mixed with bean sauce spicy flavor, which is a mixture of mashed fried peanuts, chilli, garlic and blended spices. Pecel usually served with rice or rice cake plus the peanut brittle, salted fish britle, tempe bacem, tahu bacem.

It's breakfast that was very interesting and rich in taste and vitamins. But its cheap enough, all of which I ate only Rp8500. You also can eat while sitting on a mat while enjoying the hustle and bustle of the morning Malioboro. You should try it!
